It is! How did you like the series Gary?

I loved this series - I went to see IT in the theater in 2019 and they had a SK short documentary ahead of the movie. They said The Dark Tower was his Magnum Opus and I decided to give it a try… then I learned that “19” was a magical number in the DT series and got a crazy idea to read them all in 2019 - straight through… I started The Gunslinger and honestly found parts of it to be very mystical and weird… I thought “did I make a good decision? “. In the end I did like it, but it was so bizarre.

Then I got to The Drawing of the Three and was totally hooked… totally different tempo and pacing and so funny. I have commented in several of my reviews that Roland is more fun with companions. Some of the best stories and memorable characters ever assembled. I hope you have a similar experience 😀

Looking back at my review and reading history I made this note on Oct 12 …

“ I didn’t realize until I was reading through reviews how significant the number 19 is to this series. Given that it’s 2019, I’m going to try to see how many of these I can fit in before 2019 is over."

Oct 12 is my daughter’s Birthday 😀 if you look at my profile pic #8 it features her the day we went to see IT 🤡

That's awesome Gary and I love the picture!! She's got the biggest smile even though she's enveloped by a clown. hahaha

I'm going to keep that in mind about 19. It makes sense right now because it's already been introduced. I can't wait to see how this proceeds in the series!
