Personally, I would not open their box for most cases. It would make me feel guilty, no matter the reason I opened it for. I would also not know how to approach the child to tell them if I said that to them. It would make me feel anxious and feel like a sneaky parent, instead of just respecting them and cherishing the time I have with them.

Recently, I have felt a sense of strength within my community when a friend of mine passed away. As it was a hard and unexpected time for all, especially the family, our community really showed up for each other when it mattered the most. It was a time to hold each other tighter and remind each other not to dismiss any time we have on earth.

The cyclist song relates to the theme of the book because of the constant lyrics that are being repeated, which is ¨Whatever will be, will be.¨ Since the theme revolves around the length of everyone's strings and how there is no control over the length of your life. The song is a reminder that whatever happens, will happen no matter what. It shows that you can't question something that will happen, no matter what.

Yes, I do believe they should fight for their rights. They are just like any other person, just trying to live their lives, even though one day their life will be cut short. It can be hard when there are so many different perspectives among many different kinds of people. It is wrong to treat less than when they are just trying to live with the time they have left.

Personally, I would not sacrifice my life for someone I didn't agree with. I would be mutual with them, but when it comes to a life or death situation, especially in this case, when it comes to the strings. Although as a character, he embodied saving lives, there comes a certain point where it ultimately becomes a matter of how I place myself compared to someone I disagree with.

My first impression of the politician is that I dont agree with many of his policies. Especially the discrimination against short stringers. I feel that he is already being manipulative towards what is going on since the strings arrived. He is already starting to use his power to benefit himself. I dont agree with his decision, even though he has power, he still doesn't have that type of right to out anyone.

When it comes to a miracle, it really varies for me. I believe that when it comes to life or death, miracles can definitely occur, but I am not sure if they can occur in everyday problems in life. An example of a miracle to me is if someone were to survive after something like a horrible accident, like a car wreck. I feel that miracles vary depending on how you act before that miracle may occur.

If I had a long string, I would test it, but only to a certain extent. I would go above and beyond to try my hardest to do dangerous things, but here and there, I probably would try something dangerous I have wanted to do for a while. It may change the way I live my daily life, but not too much to where I base my life around it all the time.

The usage of different POV´s impacts the reader's experience through providing a different change of pace as you read. Instead of sticking with the same perspective the whole time, it provides more suspense and questioning when the perspectives are constantly changing. It prompts the reader to question what's next and encourages them to start predicting events that might happen.

Some words to describe Nina would be cautious, complex, and curious. This is because from the start, she was very hesitant about the box. It came as a surprise to her, and she hasn't stopped wondering about it since. However, Ben is very daring, impulsive, and willing from the start because of his ambitious attitude towards opening the box.
