Liz realizes she has fallen in love with Wes, not Michael. She and Wes confess their feelings for each other at the Halloween party, and Liz realizes that all this time that Michael was a fantasy and Wes was real. They finally become a couple!

Wes and Liz decide to pretend to like each other. Liz is eager to impress Michael, so when Wes and Liz start faking their feelings for each other, Liz spends more time with Michael because Wes includes her in his social gatherings. As a result, she begins to develop chemistry with Wes, while still focusing on her interest in Michael and overlooking what is right in front of her.

I just started this book about Liz Buxbaum, who has always been a hopeless romantic from a young age. Her next-door neighbor, Wes Bennett, has always been her friend. I’m excited to see if they end up falling for each other or if she finds someone else. I really enjoy how the book includes quotes from romantic comedies and songs.
