i wasn’t going to rate this but the more i thought about it, the more annoyed i got. there’s only a few underwhelming interactions between the (insufferable) mc and her (bland) love interest before he disappears and it felt like i was just told instead of shown how in love they are. none of their interactions made me find their love believable and so the whole premise of the book falls apart in my eyes.
