I was wrong about a break in crying. It keeps going. I really hope I’m done this book by the weekend thought, because I’m trying to outsmart a book hangover and get right into spooky season reads. The TBR is looooong

So I spoke to soon and it got much worse. I was violently sobbing from where I left off my last update all the way until about chapter 100 (page 803) and I have a small break from the emotional intensity now so I’m leaving this update to say I’m alive.

About 170 pages left and I’m so scared

Just had my biggest sob of the book so far and I’m in this weird space where I’m just refusing to believe what I read, but also want to be sad for the sake of being respectful to fictitious characters
