I cant imagine how it would feel to be dealt the news that you know you'll die (in an agonizing way, much like your friends/family/colleagues) and still have to find a way to continue living life, just waiting...

The way they were confirming the presence of radium in the women's bodies was, after death, by reducing their body to ash and testing the ash... did the families get any say in this? Or because its radioactive material, do they not get any say in what happens with their daughter's body?
