Its written in a way there is no tension where there is supposed to be idk maybe it’s just me ?

Im struggling so much with this book but I’m too stubborn to DNF

Beautiful writing yet it doesn’t read smoothly.. it’s taking me a while to get into it and the conversations don’t feel real/natural idk the dialogue isn’t dialoging

I really really really hope it gets better or it might send me back into the reading slump I just got out of
