It is amazing how your mindset affects your enjoyment of something. When I first started these books 10 years ago, I just wanted to get to the Sanderson books, and I was nitpicking everything, and not enjoying the story. Now, I'm sitting down to just enjoy the story and the world, and I've been absolutely hooked. Jordan's prose has issues, yes, but the world he's created is insanely detailed and entertaining.
