Anyone have any *clean*, fluffy book recs? I’m tired and don’t want to use much brain power but want to read before I go to bed at night. Thanks!

anoldfashionedgirl Have you read the mother daughter book club series? They’re super cheesy but bookish and cozy and a lot of fun. The same author also wrote the pumpkin falls mystery series which is a middle grade mystery set in New Hampshire and those books are also super cozy. There’s this middle grade duology that’s baking themed and I find so comforting called secrets and scones. Gail Carson Leivines the fairy’s return and other tales are fun mixed up fairy tales. They’re super short and there’s a lot of them. Once upon a marigold is a quirky fluffy romance fairytale. It’s middle grade so it’s clean there are three books but I haven’t read all of them.
The shady hollow mystery series is also fun. It’s murder mysteries that happen in a village of animals. Veryyy cozy, there are a few content warnings I’d be glad to give them if you’d like. I haven’t read all the books in this series.
The all of a kind family series by Sydney Taylor is a favorite comfort series of mine. It’s about a Jewish family living in nyc in the early 1900s. The books are very slice of life about their experiences.
Becky dean romances are super fluffy and clean.
The Penderwicks and the vanderbeekers are both series that might fit the bill if you haven’t read them already. Hope this helps!!

Gemma The Hidden Haven? 😏 Kidding!!! I do agree with The Penderwicks and The Vanderbeekers! And The All of A Kind Family was one that I enjoyed that is similar. Anne of Green Gables, The Secret Garden, A Little Princess....those are all good ones!
