I’m a significant chunk into the book now and whilst I’m enjoying the plot and how Arthie as a character is getting more in tune with her emotions and not just shutting them out. However… the romance subplot with Matteo is kind of distracting for me and it’s just always there. Like they’re in life or death scenarios and she’s too busy thinking of him, it’s just… not it for me
