Wait, what the hell is happening?

I'm going through this so slowly, I'm gonna have to renew again at this point. Maybe I should just soft dnf.

It has been awhile since I listened to this, but fortunately I was able to renew my Libby audiobook. Now let's hope I'm not too lost lol

It's prob just the fact that I'm listening to the audiobook, but sometimes I have a hard time telling who's talking. Also, it often takes me a sec to tell whether something is actually being said aloud, it is the twins' telepathy.

Can we acknowledge that the brighter, more gold hair isn't necessarily more attractive to everyone, and neither are the deeper blue eyes?

Why are we calling her "The Lanoverian princess" when she's friends with the pov character? Kinda distracts me every time it does that.

"Apparently, our bodies could be harmed down there, even if nothing else could." Well, that isn't terrifying at all.

Twelve Dancing Princesses retellings love to put the princesses in some sort of danger (which is kinda ironic, in a way) and seem to have a somewhat darker elements to them, even when they're light books

I have a feeling I'm gonna like this series more than the first one.
