Ohh, now we're cooking! Finally we learn more about Gilead and stuff happens. The time jumps have been a bit overused for the time being.

Ngl, it's getting a teeny tiny bit exhausting to read by now...

That lack of quotation marks... I dunno if it's genius or frustrating. It does bring the point across though...

It is so stark and businesslike written. Which makes it seem dry, but it is so incredibly heavy and depressing.
The fact of when the story takes place for our main character makes it even sadder and more impactful.
