Finished book one of four in this novel. A fascinating and captivating read for me so far. The filmmaker inside of me can’t help but notice the cinematic potential of this story. I can easily imagine this being one of those HBO miniseries that stays in first gear the entire time, but you keep watching anyways because it’s just a good vibe and the characters are engaging.
