I’m getting tired of the trope of everyone having religious trauma from your childhood, but it’s because of religion that it made them weird instead of maybe looking in the mirror and seeing they may have flaws I need to work on

Sexually promiscuity and acting like it is ok. It is just as bad as addition and gluttony…a sin. Their religion doesn’t promote it so instead of changing the behavior, they just demonize their religion.
