These "mutual aggression" laws are utterly insane.

I'll have to look in Japanese law now, to see if it's similar. Plenty of laws are along the same lines across the two countries.

I have never reflected much on what it means to grow up with a prosecutor for a mother...but I still recall my Korean language professor's awed admiration at my mother. This was the late 90's and I'll never forget his telling me that he wished Korean was the same, a place where women could reach such positions.

I found it odd, at the time. As I always took such things for granted.
