This is surprisingly good. It does kind of feel like it's setting up for later, but in a good way. Seems like things could get emotionally brutal. Hawthorn is MUCH less annoying now, too.

The banter is really forced :( Just feels a little off.

Thorn's winking is excessive and obnoxious.

I'm really enjoying this. It's interesting enough to keep my attention, but not awkward or stressful enough to mess with my poorly medicated adrenal issues. Hopefully that doesn't change. Very into this so far though. I didn't like Thorn at first, but he's growing on me.
