Notes:
(1) I wouldn't say there's much story development over the final two issues.
- Just the Pantheon acting as... well, hedonists mainly; but also some of them trying their best to forestall doomsday.
(2) Am I the only one uncomfortable with all the nudity, given these characters are all supposedly teenagers?
- Granted, the age of consent is lower in the UK, but still...

Notes:
(1) Seems like Laura, despite being bestowed divinity, is still the quintessential fangirl: living out the fangirl/groupie fantasy by bedding, by my count, three—maybe four—of the other gods.
- I think Luci and Sakhmet are the only others close to being as promiscuous... unless you count Woden and his Valkyries.
(2) Having united, we're back to the fragmenting stage.

Notes:
(1) Issue #23 is an in-universe magazine written by real-life magazine writers and illustrated by "photographer" Kevin Wada.
- McKelvie contributes two full-page ads, you know, for the sake of being credited in every issue.
- Kevin Wada's rich watercolors (or is it gouache?) is the only reason to read this.
- Leigh Alexander's opening piece is inane and interminable!

Notes:
(1) So, seemingly all the loose ends got tied up at the end of the last volume—save for a few plot holes I hope will be answered eventually—and it feels like we're into a new phase of the series.
- I guess the titular "Imperial Phase." Which I take to mean the kids are going to start living like royalty/tyrants, now that there aren't chaperones around. I'm in for it.

They all look mid-20s, but then you get bits where they remind you how old they are and it's like cold water in the face when you put two-and-two together 🫤
