Uggh. So far this is a tough read. A short history book that exclusively describes the actions of evil rulers. I’ve read or listened to plenty of true crime & forensic psychology books & documentaries so It’s not a new topic. I fast forward small parts involving torture or details of what people go thru when murdered. It’s mostly a dry, boring read w/ parts that detail horrible deaths that I skip.
