read this title as “one dark widow” for the last year and I was so confused as to why the mc wasn’t a widow. I was just assuming all the men introduced could die until I finally looked up the book and read the title fully. Ngl kinda disappointed that’s not how it’s going, these men are so annoying

FHDAJLFHSJHSA I really enjoyed this duology but I did figure out every twist so thoroughly that when they were revealed I was like "uh did we not already know that? was that not already just a fact?"

I loved how painfully predictable a situation would be and every party involved was still clueless BUT the child?!?!? It was quite hard to read at times but I felt it made up for it with the Nightmare's sarcasm lol
