Notes:
(1) Having enjoyed a period of time without behavioral rules and restrictions, the Pantheon now has to deal with the fallout of their hedonism and increasingly feral inhumanity.
- As such we see intertwined plotlines about promiscuity, domestic abuse, bloodlust, and the consequences thereof.
- Bottomline: teens without rules and/or guidance are just hormones on legs.

Notes:
(1) After a fairly slow start, this really kicked into gear: the last few issues were fantastic, just twists on top of twists!
- Definitely an arc advancing the plot, no treading water here.
- Of course, deaths and big reveals only have impact if you care about the characters, which this series has done a great job of cultivating.
(2) So, back to treading water next?

Notes:
(1) Well, that came out of nowhere! Usually major betrayals and deaths come at the end of arcs, not right smack in the middle.
- The death is a person I'd never have predicted!
(2) I do enjoy the "red dot" symbolism in the final full-page splash.
- Both in terms of being the flag of Japan and the laser pointer dot that Sakhmet's been trying to catch the whole series.

Notes:
(1) I find this series alternates between periods of plot advancement and periods of treading water.
- Last volume was a ton of treading water, albeit to get across the new status quo, so I expect this book to push the plot forward.
- Hopefully, there's no gimmicks here, like that one in-universe magazine issue that was a tortuous slog and didn't land with me at all.
