Liska and the Leczy continue to feel affection for each other and really start to fall for each other. In Chapter 32, they have sex and he knows he's going to die although she still wants to save him. The Leczy is such a romantic and he's so in love with Liska. Basically, he's discovered that they're soulmates. He sacrifices his life to free everyone from the curse. Liska adopts another magical girl.

Liska and the Leczy had a sexy outdoor bathing and hair brushing scene in chapter 24. He puts a flower in her hair and basically declares his love for her. They end up making out for a bit. Ahhhh! It's really sweet how they've been growing on each other. Jaga is still the best side character. She's got so much sass.

More action and Liska ends up adopting a little child. Jaga the house spirit is my favorite side character! Small glimpses of affection between Liska and the Leczy. He manages to help her work out her trauma and unstuck her magic.

Interesting book I'm listening to via audiobook. I enjoy the folklore and dark fairy tale aspect to it. The Leczy (pronounced Le-shi) and Liska are a fun pair to follow. So far there's a mystery and he's helping Liska get her magic back. Jaga the house sprite is the most fun and gives the appearance of a cat. I have been enjoying the narration on the audiobook and helps me know what the correct pronunciation is.
