This book is so well written! The vocabulary alone has me lost in the sauce sometimes, but there are moments in here where I am in awe 🫢 the places I’m taken, scenes described, and questions that arise after such mysteriously magical moments…I am intrigued yet still asking myself, what does this all mean?! There is so much we know and don’t know at the same time and I am patiently waiting for things to click

The insults thrown around in this book are honestly perfect and hilarious lol they really do eat

Yes, the world building takes some time. What feels like a long time, but I’m also not mad at where my mind is taken. I enjoy the different places we visit

The child in me gets major LOTR, Pirates of the Caribbean and GoT vibes from the atmosphere and characters introduced in this book and it’s nostalgic for me in its own way
