this happens literally at the very beginning of the book, so I dont see this as a spoiler: the main character gets a notification that her ride share has been canceled minutes after she got in a man's car (who she thought was the ride share) and drank something that man had given to her... AND THEN BASICALLY THINKS THE CANCELATION WAS A MISTAKE, im sorry in what universe does this make any amount of sense
