This was a joy to read. partly for shipping reasons, but I'm also intrigued with where the story could be going in the next volume. This was a fun read and I loved being immersed in the Korra universe again. 😊

The end was intense with the altercation between Wonyong Keum and Tokuga. Now Tokuga has a motive/reason to go after Korra. Yikes!!

LOL wrt Bolin telling Korra and Asami that they should go on a double date with him and Opal. Bolin was always one of my favorite characters in the animated series. 😁 He's an endearing character. ❤️

I wonder what's going to happen with the conflict between the spirits and the people who live in Republic City. That's a fascinating source of conflict.

I was honestly amused by a part that I read last night where Korra was yelling at President Raiko while Asami calmly pulled her out of his office. That scene captured their dynamic well and Korra's hot-headedness. Although, President Raiko *deserved* to be yelled at. 😆😇

I'm loving Kya's conversation with Asami and Korra about sexual orientation. It's intriguing to learn about the Air Nomads and their acceptance of diverse sexual orientations, but I'll appreciate it more when I'm not tired. 😅🥱

I loved Kya's knowing look at Tenzin when he commented that Asami and Korra were a great team. 😏

President Raiko's excuses for not helping his city are such BS. 🙄🤢

It bummed me out when Korra snapped at Asami, but she (meaning Asami) had a point. The people of Republic City wanted to hear from the Avatar about how she could help them.

Korra jumped the gun when she was talking to her father about being out and proud to everyone in the Republic City. Asami realized that Korra was hot-headed when Korra spoke to her dad about this topic (being out and proud). Asami rolled with the situation and was understanding because she *gets* Korra.

The storyline with the portal to the spirit world seems intriguing. Cool to see Jinora too!

I'm learning more about what Bolin and Mako are up to with becoming cops. That's pretty cool.
