I don’t know when she started to trust Arlo but here we are as she tells him about her past.

I wish there was more of a connection between them. It just feels like Arlo so saw her wanted her and got her. I need passion and lust and I’m not getting any of that.

Half way into the book and I’m still not sure what is going on. So he’s keeping her safe from the mafia and is teaching her how to protect herself while secretly being in love with her….. okay.
