Philip Marlowe makes me laugh, just like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" does, on the floor. As in actually I dropped the book and laughed and ga'saped at Larry Marlowe's bologna -- "I'm not wrong, I'm not right" -- logic when he said, " "That's nice," I said, "But I've already seen it all..." "

I only understand half of what these people are saying, but context tells me the other 75%. I like this book.
