nearing the end of part 1 (finally...) maybe part 2 will make me more invested

Okay, okay, at least we reached seventeen! But I'm still not invested. I was hardcore dragged in when I was reading Feitian's version of their story, but this is not doing anything to me just yet. Perhaps a slow starter, I'll see.

ngl I'm not a fan of stories starting with the protagonists' childhood; flashbacks somewhere later in the story are fine but reading about kids is boring me
