Every time the character perspective changes to Soren, it infuriates me. I’m reading this series for Bael and Skalda, not bloody Soren. It feels like he gets more and more chapters in this damn book than she does. No wonder Skalda and Bael can’t rank up because all we seem to focus on is Soren’s drama. Soren, by the way, is an unfaithful piece of shit who apparently has knocked up another woman.

Soren repeats all the same stupid ass mistakes as Ivarion. This book is the worst of the series so far. The only entertainment value was Bael and the bubbles.

Jesus Christ, more Soren chapters. Every time something exciting happens to Skalda, it fucking cliffhangers into a Soren chapter. If this keeps up, I’ll give up reading the rest of the series.
