can’t wait to finish. idk why i almost glanced at the last paragraph of the last chapter of the book. i’m so glad i did not have my specs on or it would have ruined the fun if i knew the ending 😭😭😭 being blind sometimes saves you🥹🤌🏻

the way the two stories finally dwell into each other, the way they were connected, and the twists that come along😭 shockers !!! i love this author.
it’s such a smooth and fast read. 💝 it’s a five star without any doubt!!!!

chapter 1: he loves her since she was 4 and at the same time he wants to squeeze the life out of her.

chapter 13: he likes her. likes her too much. he cannot stop thinking about her. he likes her so much that he sometimes feels he’s choking. and at the same time, he wants to kill her!!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭💔

[spoiler alert ‼️] meeting your ex? having your best friend murdered? finding it out with your other best friends’ boyfriend?? finding out the guy who victim was dating since a year, and was about to get exclusive with USED A BURNER PHONE!!!!!!!!! i got chills. goosebumps. and anything that’s synonymous. consider me scared and still reading!!! i’m shameless😭

you cannot put the book down if you’re one of those who puts the book down at the end of a chapter, because the end of a chapter in this book makes you want to read the next till the end and then the cycle just never ends. 😭✨🤌🏻
it’s the end of chapter 10 and i guess we finally have a victim😭😭 im so happy!!! is that creepy? 😭😭✨🤌🏻🎀

freida has somehow managed to get me out of my reading slump. after so long, i’m excited to see how a book ends, and to not have a clue about it, like who is going to get murdered, or who is the victim, and exactly to focus on which character because anyone can be the suspect or the victim😭😭😭🥹🤌🏻✨ i love her 🎀

the twists in the book are unbelievable and keep you not wanting to keep this book down. i’m glad such books are limited because then i’d be failing miserably!
guys say things like “i feel like you’re the perfect woman” and then touch you inappropriately. any girl would snap at such behaviour. and Sydney does too. but The Mystery Man comes at her rescue!!!

that’s my first Freida McFadden. and it says on the cover “more twists than a corkscrew”, and i would have said that is some boasting right there but then, i’m swung by the prologue itself😭🤌🏻✨ it went from ‘butterflies and flowers and a guy who’s madly in love’ to ‘she’s so gorgeous i might kill her!!!’ what???!!!
