By now I'm more invested in Samuel and Schneider than in the main couple, so now I'm stressed.
It's also funny to me that this omegaverse novel has a more realistic depiction of intersex conditions than most danmei with so-called intersex characters (most of whom are not intersex at all, but merely cunt-boys).
