Miles is just so damn good at digging at the root of the social constructs of history and storytelling. As a historian, it's so refreshing to read that figures of history become figures of myth and to remind ourselves, yes they accomplished incredible feats, but they were also human, not superheroes. You yourself are capable of such feats as well.
