Stop leaving him out of your conversations just say hey yeah those people are trying to kill you and that’s all you need to say you don’t need to go into elaborate details if you say it, he’ll probably believe it and if he doesn’t, whatever for him, but anyway, I love how they think of him as one of their own.

If Sui's walking the path of a warrior, you should try doing it too, and not trying to hinder it. You’re kind of helicopter parenting and if everyone around you is getting aggressive, you get aggressive yourself and stop taking all their BS.
