This is the fourth EH book I’ve read and every single main character decides at 60% that their love interest is no longer interested in them so they psych themselves out of a relationship just so we get a climatic ending?

“As soon as something climatic happened between us the would be it. He’d be freaked out afraid that I was too into him” SINCE WHEN? He just told you basically how he wants to know you more?

Against my better judgment I’m back to Emily Henry again
