I’m not sure if I can handle the graphic injury parts. I don’t know why I didn’t consider that. I love Kristin Hannah though, so I’m going to try to stick with it.

Those parts are tough to get through, but they don't dominate the book. I'm glad I finally read it. Definitely a perspective of that time period that I've never considered.
