Donating this book bc I just can’t get past how much I hate it. The writing is great, until it isn’t. The constant switch between great storytelling of Eve and Joan’s lives to abrupt interruption by the author is SO DISTRACTING. Thought this was a book about Didion and Babitz, seems luke Anolik would be better off writing a autobiography.
