As a freelance editor I came across two scenes now where my first impuls was: oh, for the purpose of more tension I would have recommended to write those in detail and "live" instead of mentioning it in hindsight. But that's the point of cozy, isn't it? The priorities are not on drama but how the characters process it in a healthy way. As a reader I'm just hardly used to that.

Slowly switching things up without losing the cosy core - love it.

Whenever I pick up the book I love reading it, the characters, the interaction, the different alien societies mentioned and how they try to get along. I don't care that "nothing happens" as some criticize, but yes, there is not much tension, no rush to pick it up every day.

Science-Fiction mit Schwerpunkt auf das Zusammenspiel der Charaktere, Weltenbau, Alien-Lore etc nebenbei einfließen lassen, sympathische Figuren, kleine Geheimnisse... Es braucht echt nicht viel, um mich perfecrly happy zu machen
