This memoir just wasn’t for me. I get that humor is a big part of her personality and I respect that. But there were just too many jokes to be able to really get into the actual story. I also thought the jokes were things that would probably be funny in person or in real time but to me, fell flat when I really just wanted to hear a good narrative. It was particularly grating as an audiobook.
