i eat my words. this is really good. it just takes some getting used to

maybe i was sort of wrong. maybe i'm warming up to it. maybe i'm half living in this story.

this is my second time trying to read this book. it's boring & pretentious & privileged makes me angry for reasons i don't totally understand. i'm sorry, i have zero interest in russian literature or existentialism or descriptions of foreign film. don't ask me why i'm still reading because i don't know.
