This book is starting to pick up some pace. I really like Owen's story and I find Sandy's story to be pretty enjoyable as well. Dana's part is probably the least enjoyable one, which could be due to Laymon being Laymon. But, if everything turns out like I want it to, I'll be done with this in the next couple of days!

So far, not a lot of horror. Some parts with classic Laymon-isms, but a huge lack of spooks.
However, some character growth from a bunch of the characters, and I somehow dislike Sandy even more, and I really feel bad for Owen. Why doesn't he just break up with Monica?

This one isn't as fast paced as the usual Laymon book, but it is instead pretty interesting. I liked seeing a new version of the beast house tour, but I'm really excited for the titular midnight tour. I think that Sandy's story is alright so far. Nothing much to note there

The opening is alright. A bunch of seperate stories and it's gonna be a lot of fun to see how they'll connect and what will happen. I think so far, the parts about Sandy are the most interesting, followed by the guides who work at The Beast House (could be from me being a guide myself)
