The story hits its straps at chapter 4. Chapter 7 - fix the monster take vengeance by finding and murdering his little brother?? This is creepy.

“A human being in perfection ought always to preserve a calm and peaceful mind and never to allow a passion or a transitory desire to disturb his tranquility”. The author then goes on to say that Greece would not have been enslaved, Caesar would have spared his country, America discovered more gradually and Mexico and Peru would not have been destroyed if this had been observed. Lesson for us all! 😂
