I forgot how much i love jameson - insanely clarifying on questions that are difficult to articulate for a mostly-layman in linguistics and literary criticism (like me). So far ive really enjoyed his exegesis of the (contradictory and self-negating) development of russian formalism. Excited to read about Althusser, having just read some Althusser.
