I appreciate that a lot, Luna. I really try to choose things that I could stand to learn more about, especially when it’s critical to the shaping of our nation’s history. Then, when very solid and scientific insight is given to explain why such a chasm exists between whites and blacks and their opinions regarding this nation’s healthcare system. It’s easy to believe that so much of the ill treatment and overlooked symptoms and diagnoses are the sole cause of their fear, but this takes it way back to the early 19th century (and even some of the late 18th!). Anything that you’re reading right now that you’d recommend, or anything good lately? I’ve been in a bit of a slump for a while now. While I’m reading important books now, I’d also like to read ones that aren’t quite as long, dense, or disturbing!
