This book is a bit triggering for me emotionally due to domestic abuse I’ve experienced in my past. Even so, the storytelling is mesmerizing in a way that solidifies a connection to the characters. I find myself becoming a champion for these women and genuinely envy their relationship. I’m reminded to be grateful for the people who have helped me along my way.
