Loving these!! Part one included anecdotes about Lincoln that were heartwarming. Some are very colloquial but others have some really beautiful lines: “Silently, tearfully, our women wended their way to their homes, and from every closet, the outpourings of supplicating souls, for protection to the loved ones, went up to the ear of the Eternal”
