I see the idea the book is going for that Laurent’s actions aren’t what they seem and the others are worse but I still am not feeling it. I love Enemies To Lovers including problematic ones but Laurent is just not doing it for me yet.

There is just NOTHING remotely attractive or intriguing or glimmering of possible redemption in Laurent. He’s boring and spoiled and cruel in the most petty, superficial way not even enough to be interesting. I’m almost halfway and I see no way in Hell I’d ever support this as a romance.
