It feels so good to be reading Sapkowski again. The Witcher is where my fantasy journey began and now that I’ve read so much more I can confidently say Sapkowski writes some of the most charismatic characters. The little tangents characters go on about bureaucracy in a fantasy world when there’s monsters running around eating people is my favorite commentary about society.
