I knew this was gonna happen but goddamn 😭 she just got ogled at by so many men and the only thing she really seemed to like about the new exhibit was the fact that Levi's drawing was actually a lot like her and not like the mermaid Barnum is selling her as.

Just picked this book up again a minute ago and realized I hadn't updated my progress on it on here. Believe I've found the part I was at before dropping it for a while. I'm dedicated to finish this book now so expect more updates on it these next few days 🫡
