It’s just like… if you want me to believe in the romance, then it should be able to stand on it’s own, not have to have every other potential romantic interest torn down into an evil asshole.

Ok I’m sorry but if they’re abt to make Amanda completely villainous I’m going to be annoyed. I hate the trend that one person has to be a full assshole in order to push the person towards the “right” love interest.

Ok also (I feel like I’m complaining a lot despite the fact that I am mostly enjoying this) but whyyyyy do we keep getting what feels like the entire song lyrics? I’m not a fan of lyrics in stories and this is like the whole damn sing each time and I find myself skipping the audio tbh

Also. Here’s the thing. I KNOW this is going to lead to magically gets her memories back. But I actually don’t want that. It feels too contrived.

I think part of what is putting me off about this is that Ashley and all their friends are acting like Gracie owes her something when she is the equivalent of someone she has known for a few days, gone on one date with, and has all these weird expectations abt. She has every right to talk to her ex and her family if she wants.
