I enjoyed this much more then I thought I would cause it very different (a lot more bloody brutal) then what I tend to read lately but it really had me invested!

had some minor critiques but mostly personal pet peeves, so excited to discuss.

I swear every one of Varg’s chapters ends with him passing out, how is this man still alive?!!

Also I miss Orka, I feel like it’s been forever since she had a POV :( like what is girlie up to?


(Also I HATE the word thought cage and I need them to stop saying it ever other line)

making some progress! also its rare for a book with multiple POV for me to be really interested in all of them so yeehhh

i take it back, i'm actually not enjoying this book (the book knows what it did) and right after my last update as well so rude

the world building is fun so far! i love the vaesen and the religion they're very interesting, can't wait to (hopefully) learn more

I think I'm starting to get a footing in this world.

(okra is def my fav pov right now but all are interesting)
