I understand and appreciate the silly charm of this book, to an extent. I feel this book in the series, in particular, would have benefited from taking itself more seriously, especially given that the FMC faces complex feelings pertaining to her relationship with her mother. I already wish we could go deeper, instead of silly footing our way through everything
